Juliane “Julie” Morris received her undergraduate education from Southern Methodist University and Millsaps College, graduating from the latter cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While at Ole Miss, Julie became a moot court trial champion and won the Campbell-Delong moot court trial advocacy scholarship before she graduated one semester early in 2008 and proceeded to pass bar exams in three states.
From 2010-2017, Julie exclusively practiced criminal law as an Assistant Public Defender for the 7th Judicial Circuit for the State of Florida, where she handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to murders. During this time, Julie earned her reputation as a skillful trial attorney and a fierce advocate for her clients’ rights, and was eventually entrusted with several high-profile cases which garnered both local and national attention. After several years of public service, Julie entered private practice in early 2017. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
