Charge: Aggravated Battery Deadly Weapon
Client was involved in an incident where she was observed on her own dash
cam running over the alleged victim with her vehicle after a road-rage incident.
She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery Deadly Weapon. After
we submitted the medical records of the alleged victim and watched the Axon
body cameras from police, it was uncovered that the alleged victim was
previously Baker Acted, was under the influence of fentanyl and had a prior
history of violence earlier that day in another incident. Ultimately, the State
allowed client to complete a deferred prosecution agreement whereby ultimately
her case would be dismissed.
